Quick Overview

Human P2X4 Purinergic Receptor-expressing, stable replicating cell line.

Background

The human P2RX4 gene encodes P2X4, an ionotropic ATP receptor that functions as an ATP-activated cation channel expressed in the CNS, alveolar macrophages, vascular endothelium, and airway smooth muscle. P2X4 receptors are therapeutic targets in treatment of neuropathic pain, asthma, and heart failure.
